GO TO DEFCON 2 -- SIPB’s well-known DEFCON counter outside the W20 Athena cluster hit status 2 after a widespread network outage last night. With problem sets due Friday and deadlines for final projects looming, many students were left with little to no access to their home directories. SIPB member Lex Nemzer ’00 attributed the outage to overloaded routers. SIPB had no further explanation.
